With a good insurance that covers all rental transactions we ensure that you can rent gear with confidence and peace of mind. We assume that you as a renter take care of someone else's equipment just as you would your own equipment. For example, the rented equipment must be used and transported correctly and not be left unattended or out of sight. That is what insurers refer to as 'the good diligence' principle. And that you are honest and open in communicating with the renter. But as everyone knows: accidents do happen sometimes and that is why we make sure that each booking comprises an insurance. Super convenient, because that's how you as a renter have the certainty that if something were to happen, you will not be left footing the bill.
What does 'excellently insured' exactly mean? You also have no hassle when it comes to the ‘current market value’; the insurance covers the amount that the owner enters as 'replacement value' of the item (after acceptance of the claim). As an owner, you will be compensated completely for that amount. In case something happens, as a renter you pay the first 10% of the claim, with a minimum of € 195,-*.
