DJI is the market leader in drones for a reason. They innovate at a very fast pace, so their drones are increasingly richly equipped with features that give the drone more options and possibilities with every generation. Think of highly stabilized images with the built-in gimbal, an extensive set of active track options (systems in which the drone continually follows and films you independently), intelligent flight modes with which the drone automatically performs certain flight routes and so on. You control the drones remotely via your smartphone plus controller or a remote control to be purchased separately. The maximum distance between the drone pilot and the drone (which is also called UAV, which stands for: unmanned aerial vehicle) can be up to kilometers long, but this also depends on the type of drone.
The cheaper entry-level drones from DJI are, for example, the Spark or the Mavic Air, both of which are available in various versions. On top of that comes the Mavic series which is now available in multiple versions, the Mavic Pro and the Mavic Zoom. If you want something more extensive, the DJI Phantom or the DJI Inspire offer a world of options for creating the most beautiful and unique images. Many high end professional filmmakers work with a DJI Matrice.
By the way, did you know that DJI drones are also increasingly being used for safety and inspection purposes? They can be equipped with loudspeakers, heat sensitive cameras and floodlights.
Action cameras from DJI
DJI has also launched a number of action cameras, including the OSMO Action. In appearance it resembles the popular action cameras from GoPro that were already on the market. The OSMO is equipped with multiple screens so that you can clearly see what is in the picture during filming. The camera is of course waterproof, shockproof and can take a beating and works at lower temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius and higher temperatures in full sun. The lens contains a special coating that protects against fingerprints, oil, water and sand. DJI has equipped the cameras with digital image stabilization, they call this 'RockSteady'. Tests have shown that this image stabilization works very well, even on bumpy roads and while running. An

DJI Gimbals to try out
DJI has
gimbals for both novice and professional videographers and filmmakers . Think of a gimbal to clamp your smartphone in (they are called the OSMO series) or to attach
mirrorless system cameras or even
DSLR cameras , this is the Ronin series (eg the Ronin S or the Ronin SC. A DJI gimbal lets you record professional video images that look super stable. This is done by mechanically absorbing and compensation the shocks and bumps. Three rotating shafts with a built-in motor absorb movements and perform an opposite movement so that the result is very stable and smooth. The maximum load capacity of the gimbal (also called the 'payload') determines which camera + lens you can use. It goes without saying that for a heavy professional camera combined with a heavy lens you need a larger gimbal than for filming with a small and light camera.

FPV drone accessories
Drone racing is quickly getting popular as a variant of normal flying with a drone. DJI also supports this trend of FPV (First Person View) racing with their FPV Goggles, the DJI Digital FPV system. This system consists of racing goggles, camera, air unit and remote control. With the sharp high resolution images and low latency (delay), DJI ensures that the FPV races are optimally served. First Person View drone racing differs from normal drone flying in that you feel as if you are in the cockpit of the drone with the FPV glasses; you can move very agile and fast through a track and perform the most spectacular stunts at the same time. Many competitions are organized for fanatic FPV racers. Please note: FPV drones are very easy to crash!

DJI has also launched educational robots, the RoboMaster. With the RoboMaster you enter a completely new world of education and fun! DJI also organizes a robotics competition which allows you to easily and playfully learn how to program and get a hang of how robotics works. You will also gain knowledge in the field of AI technology. The Robomaster is a modular product and is assembled by the user, just like Lego (Technic). Actually, the Robomaster is just like a drone but then on the ground: it is equipped with an extensive FPV camera and gimbal to especially accurately capture fast action, even with the Active Track technology from DJI.
